w00t!

I got a 95% on my US History exam. I knew I felt pretty good about that one!

Now...let's see how Texas History went, shall we?

They do, and it's interesting. Granted, Texans have a enormous amount of pride in just being Texans, so...there are some not so nice things in there that are a litte...um...ick.

I think part of it is the fact that Texas has a longer history than most US states and was once an independent country. Texas has many things to be proud of and many to be ashamed of.

Tim, you are 100% right. :-) I will say that Europeans kicking people around wasn't really anything new, though. We'd been kicking each other around for what? Couple thousand years by that point?
